Thousands of children are suffering in silence—without homes, support, or stability. It’s time to change the narrative.
Each month, over 1,000 children in Florida are removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment.
But these children are not broken.
They’re future leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, and innovators—if only they’re given the chance.
“Florida’s most vulnerable at-risk youth don’t need promises. They need action. They need warriors. They need a community that refuses to look away.”
— Dayna Dorsey-Brown, Founder
Fueled by lived experience. Driven by love, hope, and action.
Give what I've been given, use what I've been given whether it's time, resources, or lived experience to ensure others don’t go through life without a fighting chance. My vision is to spark change where it’s needed most, invest in people over profit, and build something that lasts beyond me. I want my life to be a bridge—connecting pain to healing, struggle to opportunity, and silence to voice.
“We rise by lifting others; fueled by the support we once received.”
Dayna is fiercely devoted to paying it forward and pouring into the children who are just like her. Every day, she gives the most vital gifts—love and hope. Her belief in the power of words and kindness drives her to make an unforgettable impact on the lives she touches.
Dayna's life is a testament to grit, grace, and purpose. She leads with unshakable authenticity, empowering those around her. From advocacy on the frontlines serving the homeless population to helping children of incarcerated parents through Prison Fellowship, she turns pain into purpose.
Meet Dayna—founder, speaker, educator, advocate leader, reformer, and entrepreneur. Dayna’s life story is a miraculous journey marked by profound tragedies and extraordinary breakthroughs from the very beginning. Dayna who was born premature at 30 weeks; spent the first 74 days in the NICU fighting for her life. Dayna became an orphan shortly after her first birthday when her parents passed away. Dayna was placed into the foster care system; where she was separated from her sister Jennifer and denied opportunities for adoption due to systematic racism, segregation and unethical policy.
That all changed when she closed her first deal of a lifetime; with high-powered celebrity attorney and businessman Saunders Dorsey. Saunders heard about Dayna and traveled from Michigan into the rural Appalachian Mountains with a five-figure check with her name on it to adopt her—an act that ultimately saved her life.
Socially Conscious Kids is the brainchild of what Dayna’s father and grandfather pioneer JB Dorsey have instilled in her from a very young age. Chosen and named by her father, Dayna knew early on that she was different. Recognizing her enterprising spirit, she insisted on working at her father’s law firm at just 11 years old. Despite being diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), she thrived by gaining firsthand experience in running a business and learning the importance of forging her own path.
Dayna’s determination led her to graduate early from high school. Faced with constant bullying, she turned adversity into motivation, using it as a catalyst to get ahead—and it ultimately worked in her favor. Shortly after, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration while simultaneously being a teen mom and interning at the Law Offices of Greg Rohl. Dayna is living proof that you should never give up—she is a survivor of domestic violence and a byproduct of imppecable perseverance. Saunders and Dayna are both community reformers and advocates. Dayna is a voice for the voiceless, misfits and “unwanted” children of society because she IS one of them. She is also an active advocate for mental health services as she is trained in Trauma-informed care and certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid. (YMHFA)
